Why the world needs Revolutionizing Intimacy NOW!
Twenty years ago I was so disconnected and stressed that my body literally shut down. I knew it was time to change or die. I chose change. I set off on a journey and realized that we live in a world where we feel compelled to be connected and to constantly make things happen. In our drive for these very ideals, though, we end up creating a vicious cycle
We create disconnections, first within ourselves and then with others. Our personal relationships, home lives, and even our work environments suffer.
We experience separation globally and interpersonally.
We compete instead of uplift.
We seek relationships to try to fill a void.
We get caught up in blame, shame, judgment, and finger pointing.
The good news is we can shift the consciousness around the way we relate… and return to the intimate, loving creatures we are meant to be in every aspect of our lives. It’s time for change! Living burdened by emotional shame, chasing relationships to fill an empty void, and living overstimulated is tearing us all apart. We find it normal to feel disheartened and depressed. I know from experience, this kind of “life” is no longer an option!

Interview with Tziporah Kingsbury
Please share a bit about your journey to become a published author?
I did not realize what awaited me on the journey of writing a book. Thinking back to the day a dear friend and publisher said to me, “You likely already have a book written in your decades of writing content, seminars, case studies and mentoring students.” It was on this day that I began my journey to expand my passion, to co-create a world where all beings felt safe in their bodies, with their feelings, and to open a new reality in which we remember our humanity again. The journey of putting this living, breathing book into form may have taken only two years, however the content you will read upon the pages has been in creation for two decades. It only seems natural the content was written originally knowing one day it would be a book for the world to read.
I did not have formal book writing coaching. Most formality around writing seems to stop my natural flow of creativity. I write when inspiration and information comes to me. The most coaching I had was at the very beginning of wanting to format my second book that comes out later this year. A business coach suggested what had worked for them. Write out 12 Title chapters which would be holding spaces, put 3 bullets under each chapter of what will be addressed within them and than expand on those 3 bullets. I started that and I couldn’t write. Having to put something in such order at the beginning stunted my natural way of writing. I am an emotional writer rather than a mental writer if that makes sense. This is why when the book was ready I teamed up with an amazing Literary Architect with a Aerospace Engineer back ground. He was able to see what I had written as if it were a puzzle, he understood the message and intent and took the puzzle apart and put it back together again. Together we make a great team. This allows me to stay in my own way of creative flow and not have writers block.
Julie Salisbury and Influence Publishing came in after the book was complete. I found her through a referral on social media when I was in the process of deciding to either hire a publishers or self publish. Self publishing and having to do all the leg work was not in alignment for my lifestyle. Julie and I had several conversations before I was a yes. I appreciated how much Julie and Influence would be there with me side by side during the birthing/launch of Revolutionizing Intimacy. She actually helped me finalized the Title of the book, gave great feedback on fonts and cover design which really worked for the book. Influence Publishing is also assisting me in the final stages of marketing, the Amazon launch and an in person book signing in Vancouver which I am very much excited about for this summer.
This journey I have been on reminded that it takes a tribe and that we are truly all in this together

How does the writing process work for you? Do you schedule a time every day, work madly when inspiration hits or ?
Laughing…. my writing process has been quite the investment. I know for each author we all invest in various of ways. I am a romantic writer. This means my writing comes when I am far away in my little sanctuary nest without distractions and only focused on the stream of consciousness wanting to come through. Revolutionizing Intimacy was written in both Sedona, Arizona, and Vancouver, Canada. These were my magic spots. I would take 6 to 10 days at a time off from seeing clients, taking calls or talking to anyone. All my time was dedicated to sleep, meditation, being in nature and working on my book. When writing came through I would either sit at my computer typing or if out on a hike, record audios to be transcribed later. Often I would go in with the intention of completing a certain amount of words, but in the end surrendered to allowing the process of writing to take place. I believe that when I surrender to the stream of consciousness of information coming through me is when the biggest of magic happens.
What did you find most difficult about the writing and publishing process? What was the easiest?
One of the most difficult things was trusting in the pauses. I could go away for 10 days and write over 10,000 words, yet there were months in between that my focus was on clients and life. The next difficult thing was choosing between two titles that came to me rather easily. I went back and forth a few times changing it. There is always an abundance of content that I know will impact someone’s life in some way but the title and subtitle are the first impressions. How someone perceives the title is an important first meeting for them to open up the book. Titles have never been my thing in general. I would hire a title writer if there was such a thing.
Speaking of titles, I would love to share more on the subtitle. While the title was changed twice, it did come to me naturally. However the subtitle was much more of a challenge. I am grateful I had such wonderful peers and Julie to guide me through this one. In the end, my concern was that the subtitle – Navigating Connection in a Disconnected World – was understood. I worried that I was being too negative. Through several conversations with a close friend/writer, the truth was realized. In some way each human being is doing their best to navigate connection on a daily basis. Life gives us curve balls, whether it be our job, relationships, family life, death, physical or emotional crisis. Disconnection can show up.
The easiest was the content. The content and subject at hand is what I live and breath. I just picked up pen to transfer it onto paper.
What title (or titles) have you released? Please include a short synopsis of what your book is (or books are) about.
I have two books currently published. One is called Intimate Insights. This is a pocket-sized book of roughly 72 quotes taken from this book Revolutionizing Intimacy. The quotes are lovely daily reminders to open our hearts and mind to the boundless state of intimacy, and that life is here to inspire us. The other book I am featured in is an Anthology called Women of Spirit: Exploring Sacred Paths of Wisdom Keepers. This book is a compilation of women sojourners, sages, mystics, witches, shaman, medicine women, philosophers, life coaches, yogis, and more. Their journeys. Their stories. Their teachings and practices. This books speaks to my mystic heart and is filled with wonderful nuggets of wisdom.
I also have a third book launching April 17, 2018 – Revolutionizing Intimacy: Navigating Connection in a Disconnected World. This book is a blueprint for knowing ourselves and the ones we love more deeply. It’s about how seeing, hearing and truly understanding someone else is an intimate act of great change. Do you have any new books in the planning or writing stage?
YES! My “literary architect” – I do love calling him this – is already in the beginning stages with my 2nd manuscript which is intended to be published around October 2018. All I can say is I believe it will be the first book of its kind and a subject that is long overdue being talked about from my perspective.
What would you like readers to know about you?
I will begin with my passion, as my passion and my career are intricately woven together in this fabric of life. A few months ago a friend said to me “I admire how much you love life. The way you innocently skip through the forests, talk to the people and animals you pass by, and how you take time to pause and communicate with everything that crosses your path. Life is my passion and holding a space where others can remember this quality of life within themselves is fuel to my heart. I witness so many who are living lives where they lost touch with who they truly are at their essence, embarrassed to be expressed and hiding behind masks of shame.
When I am able to witness another feel again, to feel so much life turns to High Definition color, that is the biggest gift. My business is Soulful Relating and while some at first assume it is for intimate relationships, it is so much bigger. Most of my clientele are a combination of single business professionals and type A personalities who are good at making things happen, but somewhere along the way they lost that connection, the intimacy, the authenticity, the passion, the soulful sex, the being able to just be who they are instead of who the corporate world or others want them to be.
Personally I value my quiet time – long sabbaticals in the hills or mountains, meditating, being in nature and just listening to the natural sounds of life. This is where I feel alive. My next career goals are to turn Revolutionizing Intimacy into an online course for 2018, make it into an audio book and to begin to share more about my Soulful Relating Leadership and Couples Soulful Sex Destination Retreats.
What do you most hope readers will take away from your new book – Revolutionizing Intimacy?
My biggest wish for Revolutionizing Intimacy is that the information, practices and transmissions which fill the pages of this book serve the highest of good for all of humanity. My wish is that each reader allows the practices and ideas to open their hearts a little wider and let it guide them to feel a bit deeper. That they open themselves up to creating new soulful relationships in all areas of their lives, both personally and professionally.
The last nugget I would like the readers to take away from this book is to remember not everything needs to fit into a pretty package or be the way someone else tells you it has to be. Trust your unique way of doing something, trust the ebb and flow of life and know that if the vision is strong in your heart it will be reality in its due time.
