FAQ’s

What is print on demand? Is Self Publishing a good idea or bad idea? What are the pro’s and con’s of Traditional publishing, Vanity publishing and hybrid publishing? How can an author be successful in such a competitive environment? How does a new author get started?

This video will answer most of the questions people ask about publishing. Find out how the publishing industry has changed in the last 10 years.

Am I giving you the rights to my book if I publish and distribute through you?

No, you keep your rights outright!

What price do I buy my books at when I want to buy copies for my own events?

We like to keep things simple so we sell to you at the wholesale price – retail price less 50%

How many books do I have to sell before I see a return in my investment?

On a typical book that retails at $20 you purchase copies of your book at $10 – so every book you sell at your events you make $10. If you use level one and level two service that is less than 500 books before you cover your initial costs.

What royalty do I make when I sell my book on Amazon or at a book store?

Book stores usually take 40-45% discount off retail but bigger chains like Amazon, Chapters and grocery chains can take up to 60% discount. That does not leave much left over for the author once you take off the print cost.

Do I have to order a certain quantity of books?

The author has NO commitment to buy books from us – YOU buy direct from the printer in whatever quantity you want, when you want! Saving you thousands of dollars!

Is there a specific time/date when this process should start? Which I assume would involve having the investment ready.

The sooner you start the better, we can keep you accountable for your writing goals and launch plan! Ask about payment plans if you would like to spread your costs as you work on your book.
