What If Your Body is SMARTER Than You Think?
A step-by-step process to health sovereignty

by Manon Bolliger

About the Book

BE YOUR BEST SECOND OPINION

In this brilliant expose of holistic mind-body medicine, Manon Bolliger defines the mentally and
emotionally charged energies that deeply affect the cellular health and wellbeing of the
human body. She defines symptoms as an opportunity for positive change and the critical voice
within us as the central element of transformational healing. Healing touch connects with the
fascia to open the body’s memory center and listen to the body at the deepest levels.
Bolliger discusses many case studies that show her concepts at work in people’s lives. One of
the most powerful case studies is her own recovery from stage four cancer. Bolliger has much
to teach the world about the practice of holistic medicine, the mind body connection, and the
healing power of listening to your body.

“A perfect blend of rock-solid health advice, spiritual philosophy, and personal experience
woven into a practical formula for taking back your health and living your life to the fullest.
In a well-researched and easy-to-use guide that you’ll want to keep at your fingertips, I
recommend this book to everyone who is ready to unleash their body’s potential
without compromising their personal integrity to do so!”

“An original and insightful look at health, illness and the healing process by a dedicated complementary practitioner from whose work I have benefitted personally.”
Gabor Maté M.D.

“Many books on health and wellness populate the shelves of bookstores, but Dr. Bolliger’s book carves a uniqe space of its own. I was struck  by the interesting balance it provided for a variety of readers. I think it serves doctors and patients alike to investigate the insight she has developed over her years of clinical interactions with people challenged with a wide variety of health concerns in the current environment of North American health care. Dr. Bolliger has a way of integrating current scientific research with traditional lore in a manner that harmonizes the perceived chasm between them. She describes her journey to her philosophical stance in a way that entices and enlightens without preaching, and does so with a poetic flair. Above all, this is an engaging and interesting read.”
Dr. David Scotten ND, Med. Dean of Academics, Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine

“Dr. Bolliger’s message is clear. Unless we approach illness from a biopsychological spiritual perspective, we are unfortunately doomed to experience – in one form or another – a repeat of what ails us. Her book celebrates a new relationships – one that urges all to “step up” and challenge the assumptions behind “band-aid approaches” and the war against the body. It’s a compelling must read book for anyone motivated in the pursuit of true health.”

What Patients Don’t Say When Doctors Don’t Ask” is about a new paradigm in health, which starts with a mindful relationship with yourself and then between you and your doctor. Your diagnosis will fall into a statistical category but do you realize the agency you have on how the statistics about your life will fall? There are not enough variables taken into consideration when telling people what to expect from their diagnosis, let alone heal from it. This is where only you can make the difference in your own path to health.

What if you saw your diagnosis like a mask, and realized that you could take the mask off and discover that it is just a story, another point of view.  What if we took a look at our symptoms, completely separately from the diagnosis?  What is the story we would discover about how we live our life?

I believe patients know what is wrong with them, they know how they got there, they even know what conditions make them feel better and worse…and if given the opportunity, know deep inside, what they must do to get out of their predicament.

When you go down the diagnostic route and enter the world of disease management, the pills that are intended to prevent and delay your death, have you taken the time to ask yourself the real questions? Have you taken the time to discover that how you live is actually how you heal?
