Please share a bit about your journey to become a published author?
I wanted to share my concepts in dementia care with more people, so writing a book was in my plans. Then I was lead to Julie from another one of her authors. I worked with Julie through one-on-one coaching sessions and then with her team over a 6 month period to have my book published in September 2013.
How does the writing process work for you? Do you schedule a time every day, work madly when inspiration hits or ?
When I write it is often related to working madly when inspired.
What did you find most difficult about the writing and publishing process? What was the easiest?
What I found most difficult was making the time to write and building confidence while going through the publishing and sharing of my published book – all while still trying to support my dementia clients with their distress. Easiest? I didn’t find anything about the process. Although, it was comforting knowing I had people with expertise supporting my adventure.
What title (or titles) have you released? Please include a short synopsis of what your book is (or books are) about.

What would you like readers to know about you?
Ever since I can remember, I’ve always been passionate about helping others. Since my early 20’s, my career has focused on assisting people affected by dementia. I want to see people living with dementia to have the best support possible from the caregivers in their lives. My book and workshops teach caregivers helpful practical strategies to help everyone live a life as happy and as stress free as possible.
